CUNY Classics offers the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Greek and Roman classics, with rigorous training in Latin and ancient Greek. Within the Ph.D. program, students may choose to specialize in Classical Philology or in Ancient History. Seven-nine courses are available each semester through a consortium with Fordham and New York Universities, covering a variety of subjects in Greek and Latin literature, ancient history, and philosophy ranging from masters level surveys and composition courses to research seminars at the Ph.D. level.
